This year’s summit will continue to build on last year’s success and forge new territory! Recently, the youth and adults from the Summit Planning Team launched a survey to discover what skills would be important to everyone at any stage of owning their life journey. We were thrilled to get 100 responses, with a majority of them from youth! Our planning team is currently using these results to design a day for youth and adults to partner together as equal participants and build skills through creative learning.Also, we listened to your feedback from last year. Many of you commented that the day was inspiring and important, but that you wished there was something to follow up and keep the momentum alive. Well..(drum roll please!)…this year our team of youth leaders and adults will develop creative and engaging ways to practice and develop the skills introduced at the summit all year long. Make sure to sign up for communications about the event (see instructions at the bottom of this email). We will unveil exciting details throughout the summer so sign-up for the newsletter and visit the website!

Please mark your calendar for Saturday, October 24, 2015 and plan to join us for a focused, fun and interactive event to improve your youth/adult partnerships and build skills to help everyonecontribute and connect.

Important Information:

* Early bird registration will open in late August
* Space will be limited
* A registration fee will be required but includes breakfast and lunch. A limited number of registration scholarships will be available.
* Our goal is to have 1/3 of our attendance from outside the metro area. A limited number of stipends will be available for travel and lodging.
