In partnership with Latino Coalition for Community Leadership, offers a program for young adults
18-24 years old. This opportunity is for Denver residents only.
Denver Works 2nd Chance Program
We offer you assistance with:
Employment leads
Entrepreneur/small business referral
Entry-level electrical and solar training scholarships valued at $1,800 (no GED or high school diploma required)
GED prep and testing referrals (testing paid by DenverWorks)
Individual and peer-to-peer mentoring
Leadership training
Case management
Employment mediation
Up to $400 in client assistance/transport-tation and $200 in incentives per client
Eligibility:
Motivated for a 2nd chance
18 to 24 years old
A high school dropout or
On probation/parole or
Past criminal offenses in background (not on probation/parole)
