The Annual Colorado 9to25 Youth Summit is Almost Here

Colorado 9to25 (CO9to25) is Colorado’s youth system-building effort whereby a group of diverse youth and adults work in partnership to align efforts and improve prevention, intervention and treatment systems to achieve positive outcomes for all Colorado youth, ages 9-25. This year’s summit is for youth ages 13-19 and adults who work with youth.

This Year’s Theme: “EPIC: A Hero’s Journey to Confidence”

What does it mean to be an everyday hero? A hero is someone who decides living courageously is the only way to live. Courage takes confidence. Confidence is not an idea, but a skill gained through experience. Confidence helps us be courageous despite fear, not without it.

Effective youth adult partnerships are a fundamental necessity in effective youth engagement work. This year’s summit is not your typical conference! Our planning team is designing a day for youth and adults to partner together. Both will develop skills of confidence in themselves, in working together, and in speaking out. Participants will be in a small group for the entire day and engage in activities using creativity and the arts to develop these skills. Join us for a focused, fun and interactive event to improve your youth/adult partnerships and build confidence.
