This year’s Theme: Rewriting Your Story
Earlier, this year, our youth and adult planning team conducted a survey asking what skills were most important to previous CO9to25 summit participants. The survey generated over 100 responses, in which most of them were youth. The number one response was the skill of goal setting! During strategic design sessions, the planning team transformed the skill of goal seating into a creative day entitled Rewriting Your Story. On Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the annual Colorado 9to25 Youth Summit using written, visual and theatre arts, participants will practice setting new visions and dreams for themselves. Thus, rewriting the story of each life to reach new goals.
Youth and adults will be in small groups for the entire day partnering to experience goal setting using the arts. Participants will engage in activities to experience three stages of goal setting: creating the vision, breaking it into small steps and overcoming limitations.
Early Bird registration is now available for $15.00 per participant. The registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and all supplies needed for the day. This year’s summit is for youth ages 13 - 19 and adults that work with youth. Scholarships and travel stipends will be available.
