Registration is now OPEN for Street Smart Training of Facilitators. This training is provided FREE of charge for youth-serving professionals interested in providing comprehensive sexual health education in Colorado.
What is Street Smart?
Street Smart is an evidence-based, comprehensive sexual health education curriculum developed for youth at high-risk for being in risky situations. The Street Smart curriculum covers a variety of topics such as drugs and alcohol, condom use, HIV/STIs, and includes many skill-building activities designed to help youth practice safer sexual behaviors and reduce substance abuse. Although the curriculum and training will be largely focused on comprehensive sexual health, participants will have many opportunities to practice and improve their own facilitation skills while experiencing the different activities and learning techniques within Street Smart.
