Happy Super Bowl Week!

by co9to25

I’m sure everyone is excited about the Super Bowl this Sunday but I wanted to also share with you an opportunity for youth to get connected with an amazing local artist duo The ReMINDers. The 303 choir’s 4th annual Colorado Hip-Hop Music Weekend. This is a free of charge event taking place Friday, February 5th from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturday, February 6th from 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM. Over this time period youth will work alongside these amazing artist and learn their songs in preparation for a community performance the following evening.

I was honored to host one of these events 2 years ago at St. Charles Recreation Center and I can truly say it has been one of the highlights in 20 plus years of working with youth. Not only are the artist amazing artist, they are even more amazing people who have chosen to create art that unites and is accessible to everyone. Travis from the Colorado Children’s Chorale has done an amazing job with this annual event. Please share this information with any and all youth that you can as I assure you that if they attend this event their weekend would made even more super. Let me know if you have any questions or if there are youth that are interested in attending but might face some logistical barriers. Let’s brainstorm and figure it out. I’ve also included a link to one of the ReMINDers videos. Thanks!
