Two great opportunities for youth and young adults
Another wonderful youth voice opportunity!!! This time on both sides of the Great Divide! Youth / young adults are needed as panel members for the 2016 Communication Summit.
The Communication Summit will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 from 8:15-4:30 at the The Curtis Ballroom at the Landmark in Greenwood Village and on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 8:15-4:30 at the Mesa County Workforce Center in Grand Junction.
Youth Incentive of $50.00 (and lunch) will be provided at both events.

Be a Video Star!
The Pathways to Success team needs youth videos for a new training called“Engaging Youth in a Coach-Like Way”. These videos will be used in the training to help workers understand youth perspectives on what works and what doesn’t to engage youth, build trust and empower them to accomplish their goals.
We need young people to create short videos answering the questions. (attached)
What do I need to do?
You have two options for filming…
1) Film yourself (Selfie Video!!!!)
- Create your own short videos using your smart phone, i-pad, tablet or laptop cam
- Create a separate video for each question (make short videos - like vines or Facebook video clips)
- Be Creative! Let your personality shine!

2) Be filmed at the Kempe Center (Like a Movie Star!)
Wednesday, January 6, 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM ONLY.
- RSVP with Ricardo Matthias at 303-866-3151 for a time - if you just show up they may not be able to fit you in.
- Come to Kempe Center on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm to be filmed.
You also need to fill out some paperwork…
3) Publicity and Release Forms
- Fill out and sign a Publicity Form (attached)
- Fill out and sign a Release Form (attached)
- If you are still in foster care or under age 18 have your guardian sign.
